Keeping up with Lasqueti
A neighbour-to-neighbour way to follow what's happening on the island without driving to the Free Store to ask.
Last update: June 11, 2026
I started this site because island news moves through meetings and email lists and conversations on the dock, and it's easy to fall behind if life gets in the way. So I do the homework and put what I find here: investigations into issues affecting the island, and topic pages pulling together the background and documents. I aim for fair coverage, and I don't have a permanent stake in any of the recurring island debates. If I get something wrong, tell me.
Public Interest Reports
Authored investigations and advocacy directed at senior governments and agencies. These are my findings and positions, not neutral summaries. Plain language, with citations and a downloadable PDF.
